Turtle Dove is a loose, raglan-style sweater. It’s knit from the top-down with optional short-rows. The entire sweater is knit in the round so there is no seaming at all! There are two options for finishing the body - a simple rolled hem or a twisted rib split-hem.

Prior Experience Required: Requirements: advanced beginner knitter. Needs to know knit, purl, knit through the back, increasing.

We’ll provide: Hands-on instruction over 4 sessions, in a small class setting of 5 students.

• Woolfolk LUFT (55% merino, 45% cotton; 100 m / 109 y)

  7 (8, 8, 9, 10) skeins for rolled hem version

  8 (9, 9 , 10, 11) skeins for split hem version

• 6 mm / US 10

  7 mm / US 10.75

  or sizes needed to obtain gauge

• Small tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers.

Class Time and Dates: 3:00pm-4:30PM Saturday November 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th (Please do not register if you cannot attend all classes.)
