Always wanted to learn to knit? Need a Refresher? In this class you will learn the skills required to get you started or continue on your knitting journey. No previous experience required!

Prior Experience Required: None!

Skills Taught: English (right hand) or Continental (left hand) style tensioning, slip knot, knitted cast-on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and bind off. This class is customizable based on individual needs. You are welcome to sign up for this class if you have not learned or have forgotten any of these base level knitting skills.

We’ll provide: Small group hands-on instruction, detailed handout, and patterns.

Materials List: One skein of Malabrigo Worsted yarn or Cascade Nifty Cotton purchased at Wollhaus, size US 8/5mm or US9/5.5mm straight bamboo needles (may bring your own needles), tapestry needle, scissors. Please purchase materials before class. If you cannot make it to the shop earlier, please arrive 30 minutes prior to class time as the yarn will need to be wound into a ball.
