Sweater Workshop - Humulus
This Workshop teaches you the skills to knit Humulus by Isabel Kraemer, a colorwork pullover.
We chose the Woolstok yarn by Blue Sky for our Wollhaus Sample.
You’ll learn: To make the Humulus pullover which is knit seamlessly from the top down. You will learn German Short Rows, colorwork, and sleeve separation.
Level: Intermediate. Must know how to cast-on, knit, and purl, yarn-over, k2tog, and ssk. Colorwork experience is helpful.
We’ll provide: Three 2-hour sessions. Knitting between sessions will be required.
Materials List:
Worsted weight yarn purchased at Wollhaus
Size 5 - 16” and 32 circular and DPNs or to get gauge
Size 6 - 16” and 32 circular and DPNs or to get gauge
waste yarn, stitch markers, tapestry needle, and scissors.
Prework: Knit a gauge swatch prior to the first workshop..
Scheduled Sessions: Three Saturday afternoons, November 17th, December 1st, and December 15th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. If the class is sold out on the website, please call the shop as there may be a spot held for in shop sign-ups.
