Ginsberg Sweater Workshop
We fell in love with Ginsberg's unique construction and its beautiful texture made of cables and a variety of stitches.
Using Brooklyn Tweed Quarry (a bulky weight yarn) on size 10 1/2 needles this knits up quickly.
A perfect spring Cardigan!
You’ll learn: All skills needed to make the Ginsberg Cardigan by Norah Gaughn: reading a pattern, using charts, knitting cables, and picking up stitches. By the end of this 3 session class you will have a beautiful cardigan.
Level: Advanced Beginner. Must know how to knit, purl, and cast-on.
We’ll provide: Three 2-hour sessions.
Materials List: Brooklyn Tweed Quarry purchased at Wollhaus.
Size US 10 1/2 32-inch circular needle, size US 9 32-inch circular needle, size US 9 16-inch circular needle, (needle size may vary based on gauge), cable needle, Ginsberg pattern purchased from Wollhaus or Ravelry, tapestry needle, stitch markers and scissors (may bring your own).
Prework: Knit a gauge swatch prior to the first workshop.
Scheduled Sessions: Three Wednesday evenings, February 28th, March 28th, and May 2nd, from 6-8 pm. If the class is sold out on the website, please call the shop as there may be a spot held for in shop sign-ups.
